Central Building, Then and Now

Built in 1902, this was the first building on campus. Two wings were added to the building as well as portico columns to the main entrance. The Central Building burned down in the winter of 1961. The Mewaldt-Jensen building was built in its spot in 1963, and the Technology Center addition was finished in 2007.

Post Office, Then and Now

On the corner of 4th Ave and Main Street, this building was used until 1937 when it was destroyed after a new post office was built a block to the east. In the early 1950’s, the building that still stands today was erected in its place.
